Parents Guide to Scouting

The information here will help parents of current members and those of potential new members understand a bit more about our group and scouting in general.

Please navigate the Information area by clicking on any of the buttons below.

If there is something you're trying to find out and the answer doesn't seem to be here, please send us an email here: contactus@109thscoutgroup.org.uk

Dropping Off and Picking Up

Please ensure your Beaver, Cub or Scout is there promptly as late entry can be disruptive to the section running time, especially with the limited time we have. Please do not leave your child until 2 leaders are present. This applies to indoor and outdoor activities.

We would ask that at least one parent stays until a 2nd leader arrives (this can be due to a number of reasons, late from work, traffic etc)

If you are new to scouting you will have many questions. The Scouts (The Scout Association) has published some excellent leaflets that give a good introduction. Please click on the images below to read more!

Alternatively you can download the leaflets and read offline at your convience.
