Scout Badges

Here you can find information on all scout badges that are available to earn while your son / daughter is in the Scout section.

Many of the badges available are activity badges, which allow Scouts to show their progress in existing pursuits, but also to try all kinds of new things and form new interests.

Gaining a challenge badge involves accomplishing a number of more ambitious tasks within the Troop or community. There are several challenge badges across a number of themes, from the physical and outdoorsy to challenges dealing with the local community or issues connected with the Scouting world.

Staged Activity Badges are designed to be completed throughout your son / daughters journey - Scouts should be aiming to complete stages 4 + in these badges.

Please click a badge name for a detailed description of each badge

Please note it is highly improbable that a Scout would obtain all the badges available for a Scout to earn although this has been done in the past in rare cases.

To help your son / daughter complete as many badges as possible, you can complete some at home, at school or at a club you attend.

To do this download the complete badges at home form here, get your parent, teacher, tutor or instructor to sign it and hand it in to your leader.
