Scout Network

Scout Network - 18-25 years

What is Scout Network?

We do not have a Network unit at 109th Scout Group.

Network are a district / county unit giving better opportunities to people aged 18 to 25 that either are or want to be involved in Scouting, through socials, activities, events and flexible volunteering.

Anyone who is attached to a Group in Lagan Scout District and Belfast County and aged between 18 and 25 will get information regarding Network before they are 18 years old, if you are not sure but want to know more please get in touch.

There may be a membership fee, however usually social events are run on a ‘pay to play’ basis.

The programme

The aim of Scout Network is to take part in a flexible and more adventurous programme.

Scout Network is open to young people who have either come up through scouting in Belfast County or have moved here for work or as a student.

Turning 18 years old

When your son / daughter is 17 - 17.5, our leadership team will sit down with the explorer and discuss options for the future, they may like to become leaders, join an active support unit or just attend Network. We will do our best to give them the best advice to ensure they can continue their scouting journey.

Find out more

If you are interested in joining or you would like to find out more, please use the contact form on this page and we will pass this onto the District / County Scout Network Commissioner.
